Current Series: The Gospel of Mark

The Gospel according to Mark is the shortest of the Gospels. Mark's source was most likely the apostle Peter. Peter's personality comes through in the style of Mark which is very action-oriented and the most vivid of the Gospel accounts. It is widely regarded as the earliest of the Gospels and is addressed to the Christians in Rome. All these elements combine to give Mark its unique flavor and contribution to the person and work of our Lord Jesus Christ.
